Invites Artists to Participate in “Arts Gala III”
“The Arts of Today – The History of Tomorrow!”

PRESS RELEASE

This is the third year the Arts Council of Harrington Park will sponsor an art show highlighting the work of local artists at Sukha Arts Center in Harrington Park. The Arts Council has dubbed the show “Arts Gala III” to be held on Saturday, April 30th from 4:00 P.M. until 6:00 P.M.

“Arts Gala III” will showcase dance, music, and fine art; and is encouraging artists, including high school and college students, to participate in the show. Participants need not be from Harrington Park. And, as a matter of fact, Arts Council membership is not limited to residents of the town. Applications are available at the Harrington Park Library, Sukha Arts Center, and James’ South Central Coffee Shop all in Harrington Park, or on line at www.artscouncilofharringtonpark.com. Applications should be in by March 31st.

There is no fee to be a part of the show, and artists may sell their work. All artists are asked to provide their own easels or table easels. There will be helpers to assist the artists setup their space on the day of the show. The exhibit space at Sukha Arts Center is superb for this show, and artists are invited to stop in and view the studio and to chat with Christine O’Donnell, owner of the Center, and chair person for “Arts Gala III.” The Center is at 76 Schraalenburg Road in Harrington Park, or you can reach Christine at 201 768-2455.

This free event is open to the public; there will be light refreshments available for the visitors as they go from gallery to gallery viewing superb, talented artists who will be showcased at the April 30th event. “Arts Gala III” is going to be a really fun occasion to be enjoyed by everyone, one you won’t want to miss.

Arts Council membership is free to individual artists and organizations who wish to support the Council. If you are not an artist, you can still support the Council by becoming a Friend of the Arts Council and by so doing receive updates on all the cultural happenings of the member artists, member organizations, and the collaborative efforts of the Council.
